we're excited to welcome you back to the farm in 2022!
Celebrate the Seasons at Schilter Family Farm
With over 25 years of growing family memories, Schilter Family Farm is the place to make family traditions in the South Sound. For over 80 years, 4 generations of Schilter’s have farmed and shaped the Nisqually Valley from a dairy farm into the agritourism farm it is today. Jeff, Stephanie, their family, friends and staff work hard to create good old fashioned fun for families in our community to enjoy.
New in 2022: We will be open the 4th Saturday in Summer forBands @ the Barn, an evening of outdoor live music + burgers, brats & brews, as well as outdoor activities open for kids. Tickets now available!
2022 SEASON DATES:

We are excited to introduce an evening of food, drinks & live music we're calling Bands @ the Barn the 4th Saturday in June, July & August from 5:30p - 9:30p, with outdoor live music starting at 7p.
Grab your family and friends for a fun night out enjoying burgers, brats & brews in the beer barn and soaking up the evening sun, while supporting local musicians from our region.
Paid admission required, children 2 & under free. The Bounce Pillow, Zip Swings, Trike Track & Busy Bee Playground will be open.
Sadly, the unusually wet weather conditions experienced in the spring hit our farm especially hard this year. Though we re-planted the flower fields in an effort to salvage the crop and pushed back the dates to September, the wet ground stunted their growth too much for them to catch up and mature in time. With a heavy heart we must cancel our 2022 Sunflower Experience :(
We hope you will continue to support our family farm, and we look forward to bringing you back to the sunflowers next year.
Our Sunflower Experience includes a wagon ride out to 5-acres of beautiful sunflowers (25+ varieties) with unique photo props set among the fields, plus one u-cut bloom to take home. Find our new giant swing and oversized wooden chair perfect for family portraits. The Zip Swings, Bounce Pillow, Trike Track & Busy Bee Playground will be open for kids to enjoy, and our Tasty Treats kitchen will be serving homemade food & beverages.
Fall Harvest Festival 9/24 - 10/31
Enjoy our two pumpkin patches, 5-acre corn maze and over 20 family-friendly activities plus seasonal gift shop, homemade food & drinks and farm market produce.
Wristband admission includes wagon rides, both corn mazes, baby animal viewing, bounce pillow, two children's playgrounds, and hay pyramid, new zip swings, outdoor trike track and more! Plus try paintball shooting, pumpkin blasters & pony rides for additional charge (weekends only). Make a new family tradition by renting a private fire pit among the corn fields.
We will be closed Tuesdays in 2022. Field Trips will be Wed & Thurs.
On weekdays, no admission is required to walk the pumpkin patch or shop in Sweet Shack or Farm Market Produce. However, to manage crowds, wristband admission is required for all weekend visitors.
Christmas Trees 11/25 - 12/12

We offer weekend wagon rides to & from the field and Saturday visits with Santa. Sweet Shack gift shop is open offering fudge daily, with cider donuts, hot cocoa & cider on weekends.
Create a holiday tradition for your family. Choose and cut your own Christmas tree (we offer netting, shaking, and flocking to make it easy) - or we have a lovely selection of pre-cut trees and wreaths available for sale.
No admission required to visit the farm during Christmas season. Dates subject to change, while supplies last.
