Celebrating the Seasons
Our 180-acre farm, located in the Nisqually Valley in Olympia, Washington, is the pride of our family. Crops are grown and harvested on approximately 60 acres in the rich Nisqually River bed soil. The remaining pasture lands are cut into hay each summer — then, left for our children and local wild game to explore and enjoy. In the Fall we host a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and more. Christmas brings folks from miles around to choose and cut fresh Christmas trees from our forest!
Professional Photo Pass Policy
We welcome those who wish to use Schilter Family Farm as a backdrop/setting for any portrait/commercial photography. Please carefully read our Photography Policy prior to making arrangements to come to the farm.
This year has brought so many unforeseen challenges to everyone. Our farm is adjusting and making plans to open for our fall season in a safe manner, while still bringing fall farm fun and our u-pick pumpkins and corn maze to the community. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to offer field trips to groups/schools nor will we be able to offer birthday parties. We welcome families to come out on their own to experience the farm and to enjoy what we are able to offer within the state guidelines this year. The weekdays will be a perfect time to come to the farm and enjoy the outdoors with social distancing and safety measures in place. Thank you for your support and we hope to be able to return to having schools and other groups come enjoy the farm as a class next year!
Fun for Birthday Parties
While not being available for the 2020 season, we look forward to hosting your party next year.
Events at the Farm
We may host special farm events all through the year — like fantasy Fairy Garden Parties.
Educational Field Trips
While field trips are not available for the 2020 season, we look forward to sharing our farm with your kids next year.
