We respectfully ask that anyone who is unable to wear a mask due to a medical exemption please ask a masked family member to take care of payment.

Sorry, no Santa visits this year. He will be back at the farm in 2021.

Animal viewing only. Sorry, no petting due to state mandates for agriculture u-cut operations. All other play areas are closed for our guests and staff safety.

Wagon rides the trees will be kept at half capacity and santized after every ride. Masks are required to ride the wagon.

Saws are available for use. Please return saws to our check in area so that they can be sanitized between uses. You also may bring your own saw. Power saws are not allowed.

Hot Cocoa, Hot Spiced Cider, and Hot Coffee available on the weekends (sorry, no indoor seating due to covid restrictions). Cider donuts are available Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Homemade Fudge is available everyday.

Please pack your patience. We have to space guests out in the Sweet Shack for check out and we may need to have guests line up socially distance outside while we check out customers so that we can maintain 25% occupancy inside our retail space.

Christmas Trees

Our fresh cultured Noble, Fraser, Grand and Douglas firs bring the true feeling of Christmas to your home, and help create a special holiday tradition for your family. Choose and cut your own — it’s a delightful experience!

We also have a lovely selection of Christmas trees cut daily throughout the season for those who don’t want to venture out to the forest to cut their own.

  • Wagon rides (weekends only) are offered to and from the Christmas tree forest, and trees are delivered to the barn so you don’t have to carry them yourselves.
  • We shake all of the trees to remove old needles!
  • We can drill your tree and put it in one of our specialty tree stands.
  • Let us flock your tree! We offer pre-flocked trees or we’ll flock the tree you choose. Light, medium or heavy!
  • We’ll net your tree for travel, if you request. We can net all sizes of trees.

Holiday Celebrations …

Visit a special lighted Nativity scene in our 140+ year old barn. Enjoy an old-fashioned tractor-drawn hayride out to the Christmas Tree Forest.

Santa usually visits Schilter Family Farm the first 3 Saturdays of the season from 12:30-3:30pm. Unfortunately, to keep Santa and all of his elves safe for Christmas, he is not going to be able to visit our farm this year. He will be back in 2021 when he doesn’t have to wear a mask or socially distance from all our farm guests.Bring your camera to capture that special moment with your children. Download a Christmas Wish List for your children to write to Santa and bring with you when you come to visit! No need to mail all the way to the North Pole.
